Myeongdong Miss Korea Guesthouse - Hostel

Breakfast is pretty limited: cereal with milk, toast with jam, Nutella or honey, and coffee. Still, I had a very good stay. It’s a budget place, so you get what you pay for. Everything is close by, with the metro three minutes away, a convenience store two minutes away, and several restaurants within a two-minute walk. We had a double room, small but practical, with room to put suitcases under the bed. The bathroom was tiny, very much in an “Asian style,” with a shower curtain to stop water splashing onto the toilet. At least it was private.

I loved my eight-day stay in a private room. It was super clean, with a convenience store nearby, and I felt completely safe travelling solo. The location is great, about five minutes from the crowds but still nice and quiet. I’d stay again!

The hotel opened in 2024, and the room still feels very clean overall. The toilet is on the small side. The location is super convenient, with Myeongdong Street right across from it and Exit 3 of Myeongdong Station about a five-minute walk away. I stayed in the hotel across the street in Myeongdong this time. They also let you store luggage for free after check-in and check-out, which was great.

It’s right in the heart of the city, and breakfast is free. We loved it and would definitely stay again. The rooms are small, and fitting into the bathroom is really difficult, but you can manage, especially if you’re only using the place to sleep.
