There’s no elevator, and the stairs are steep, but the place has useful facilities like a water dispenser, free coffee, laundry, and an iron. The room has air conditioning and its own bathroom. The water heater wasn’t working when we arrived: we were told to wait 20 minutes for five minutes of hot water, but it stayed cold. Since it was early autumn and still comfortable, we didn’t ask anyone to check it. The station with AREX and lines 5 and 6 is about a 12-minute walk away along a flat route. A good budget option if you mainly need somewhere to sleep.

We found the place without any trouble, thanks to the huge sign outside, so I’m not sure why some reviews say otherwise. Our room was clean and ready, with working AC and a comfortable bed, and it was quiet with no bad smells. The shared area felt a bit cramped, but it had the things you’d expect.

For 34 bucks, it’s hard to complain about much. Just know the beds feel like bricks. A little inflatable foam pad would be a lifesaver. The rest is pretty standard for an Asian hostel.

Worst hostel I’ve ever seen. It smelled like sewage, had a fake window and felt humid, nothing like the Booking app photos. It felt like a scam. I want my money back. The reception was really bad too. This isn’t honest, and Booking app should take it off the site.

The room was small, but for the price it was worth it. It’s an easy walk to Gongdeok subway, taxis were easy to find, and there are lots of cafes nearby. The host was friendly and helpful. Check-in and checkout are self-service. The rooms are tidy and cozy, best for a small group or family traveling light. We cooked our own food and enjoyed lovely French cafe coffee.
