I checked in today and was told the 2 pm check-in time is strict. Everything costs extra, even leaving luggage just one hour before check-in. The receptionist didn’t speak English. Our room’s air conditioner rumbled loudly, but when I asked to switch rooms, the answer was simply no. The hotel is down a small alley off the main road, so the location isn’t very good. I wouldn’t recommend it unless you can’t find any other rooms. Whatever other reviewers have said, anyone unsure about my opinion can stay here and decide for themselves afterward.

It’s a love motel, but decent enough for a night when you just need somewhere to sleep. Finding it can be a little tricky. The signs actually say Oslo Park Hotel, so don’t let that throw you off.

Getting around by public transport is fairly convenient. There are art galleries nearby, and when I came back later to watch the musical, the security situation seemed pretty good.

The room was fairly clean, but the bathroom smelled foul and the towel was cheap and thin.

The staff were kind and it’s a decent place, though it wasn’t really clean.
