The location is really good, and the staff are friendly, helpful, and very nice. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

The rooms are clean and well kept, and it’s quiet. The shared area is clean and pleasant too. It’s a great budget place, with friendly, helpful staff and very good service. There’s free breakfast in the morning, plus tea and coffee at no charge all day. You’re right in the middle of the action, so the location is great.

The rooms are okay for the price, but they have no windows and the ventilation isn’t very good. Check-in was easy, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The location is excellent, right in the heart of Seoul and close to plenty of shopping, food, and stores. Keep in mind the final price may vary if you pay by bank card instead of cash.

A nice touch was the welcome snack when we arrived and at checkout, and they let us leave our luggage there on the last day. We didn’t get to try breakfast, but they use reusable utensils, which is good for the environment. The hostel is right in the middle of Myeongdong, handy for shopping and about a 5-10 minute walk from Myeongdong Station. It’s on a side street off the main road, so it took us a little effort to find. There are a few stairs at the entrance before the elevator, worth knowing if you have heavy bags. The restaurant downstairs was being renovated during our stay and the area was dirty. The room was small, but for the price and central spot I had no complaint. The brown bedding looked clean, and our bathroom was tidy with no bad smell. There’s no dry and wet separation, though, and the sink and shower use the same tap, so you can get wet while washing up. We also didn’t know at first that we had to take our own rubbish to the common area. No one cleaned the room during our three-day stay. As we were leaving, we spotted a cockroach, probably because of the garbage we’d left in the room.
