At Pencil 5, I found the shared spaces, including the kitchen, really clean and stocked with useful things. The bedrooms were comfortable too. I came by myself and made lots of friends while I was there, and the kind staff even taught me some useful Korean phrases. They were welcoming and ready to help anyone. I loved my stay and would absolutely recommend it, especially to my friends. Thank you Pencil 5 :)
I chose to stay at the Pencil 5 guesthouse this August, even though Seoul is my hometown, because there aren’t many places in Korea where I can use English all the time. I’ve been here since August, met lots of nice people from around the world, and my English is getting better. The owner and staff at Pencil5 have looked after me the whole time, and I especially appreciate them. I hope people from all over come to Pencil5 and have fun with us. Best hostel ever!
I love this hostel.
dj and ella cooked really delicious food :) I also made some good friends during my short stay. The location worked well, with a few places of interest easy to reach by subway, and the host and staff were friendly and happy to help with questions. I felt welcome, and had a comfortable stay and a fun time.
Pencil 5 gave me a chance to experience real Korean life^^ The owner and staff were kind, the rooms clean, and the rates cheap. It’s close to bukhansan(mt), and the location was good for a traveler. DJ made Korean food for the guests. An unforgettable time in seoul. Thanks :)
