We paid 590k won for 8 days and stayed only one night because the hotel was so awful. The elevator and room smelled of cigarettes, dust and cobwebs were everywhere and on everything, the bathrooms had mold, the towels were dirty, and some random devices were rusty. I wish I'd put that money toward a nice airbnb or a cheaper motel. If you're reading this, trust me and stay away.

The hotel looks like it was recently remodeled, and there are some nice little touches in the room facilities. Check-in is very late, at 6pm or 8pm on Saturdays. We arrived at 6 on Saturday, but because the website details had caused confusion about check-in, they were able to let us in at 7.

The staff were friendly and could speak English. The rooms were OK for the price, and they let us check in early without an extra charge, so we didn't have to wait until 15:00.

This was the worst hotel I've stayed in, and it wasn't worth the money. It was poorly maintained, with a filthy bathroom full of mold, a trash-can smell, no view, and no fresh air or ventilation. We made it through the door and were shocked by the room's condition. We regretted booking, canceled right after checking in, and found another hotel that same night. The website agency gave us some money back, though not all of it. Don't give up on trying to cancel and get a refund, or just avoid booking the room at Laha Hotel. There are plenty of good places at this price. There was a glass trophy for Best Accommodation of 2022 at reception. It deserved a worst-hotel award instead. I moved to a hotel of similar quality for the same price. The mold and cigarette smell at Laha Hotel almost made me sick. Reading the reviews more closely, I was disappointed to see a story about a local man bringing his girlfriend there and getting dumped on the spot. The five-star rating is a lie. Places like this shouldn't be used, and should know they're causing trouble for hotels and accommodations that provide good service for the same or lower price. Beware of this property. The air felt evil, and it seemed like a curse lingered in every corner.
