We were here for months, from April through September 2025, in the family room, and it came to feel like my first home in Seoul. The staff were so friendly, and I’ll miss them. There’s a smart TV, free washer and dryer, plus a laundry and meeting room with a rooftop seating area. Plenty of restaurants are nearby, along with Dongbu market, and Jungnang station is right across the street. Jungnang isn’t especially central, so getting to places like hongdae takes a while, though Dongdaemun is close. Kyunghee University is just one train stop away. Even with the travel time, staying here was worth it. Thanks to everyone at Lacozi for making our first few months in Seoul comfortable. I’d recommend it.
There’s a 7 eleven just behind the hotel, and the train station is only a few minutes away on foot. A short walk also gets you to a strip with shops, restaurants, and a couple of street vendors. Grocery shopping is the main thing with limited options nearby. The location isn’t central, so getting to the popular areas takes around 30 to 45 minutes each way. The hotel itself looks new and is clean throughout. The staff were lovely, and the room matched the website photos and had everything we needed.
We stayed for a month as four people in the family room and were really happy there. The neighborhood felt friendly and cute, and the transport links were close and easy to use. Getting anywhere took about an hour, which was a shame, but I still think the place was worth the travel time.
The room was clean and roomy, and the station was easy to reach. We found plenty of restaurants around the neighborhood, and the ones we tried were all delicious, though most spoke only Korean and had no English menus. We stayed three nights and didn’t get room cleaning during that short stay. For four people, we were given just one bath towel and three face towels, so I’d bring your own bath towels.
The area was a lot of fun, with a mostly clean street of shops and food a block away, plus claw machines and things for both kids and adults. Prices were cheap. Summer wasn’t too bad, though I’d bring a fan if you’re visiting then. The rooms have a cute modern punk style and feel spacious compared with other hotels. There are two beds, a bathroom, stove, kettle, washer, hangers, TV, and couch. The dryer is on the second floor. The bathroom is roomy, the soap and shampoo smell great, and the walls seem thick, which could be helpful for parents with young kids. I think the rooms work well for two to six people. The laundry room on the second floor was cute, with lots of seats, entertainment, and an outdoor area, plus large washers and plenty of photo spots. It seemed to have more amenities than other laundry rooms. Even the lobby made a great first impression, with a lovely sweet lemongrass and lavender smell, warm furnishings, and lots of places to sit and relax. The people were so welcoming and kind that we even made a friend. Love this hotel and hope to return with the family.
