The Prima Hotel Jongno

I stayed here twice, in two different room types, and both rooms were clean, quiet, and comfortable. The first was a bit smaller and worked for a short stay or lighter luggage. The second had more room, which I'd recommend if you're bringing larger or several suitcases. The staff were very service minded, spoke English well, and helped with everything from holding my bags while I went to Busan for a few days to booking a DMZ tour. They also explained the airport bus clearly. I really appreciated all of that. The gym was well equipped, though I didn't try every facility. Having a washer and dryer for just a few thousand Korean won was especially handy for a longer stay. It's central, with many tourist spots about a 10-minute walk away, and the area itself was calm and quiet. Bus and train options are also only a few minutes away on foot, so getting around was easy. A great stay, and one I'd happily recommend.

The rooms are on the small side, but there's enough space. They were clean and a great price, and the location made sightseeing easy. Gyeongbokgung, bukchon hanok village, and insadong are walkable, with a nearby bus stop too. The subway stations are an easy walk, and snack carts along the way make for a handy quick breakfast or snack.

I was on an upper floor and had a great view. Breakfast is a buffet in the basement restaurant, where the staff were helpful too. The hotel is in Jongno, Seoul, and the staff there upgraded my room and were very helpful. Everything you need is provided for a comfortable stay. Our 7th floor room was cozy and quiet, and we really appreciated the laundry room. Just a heads up, the second floor where the laundry is smelled strange when we visited. It didn't affect us upstairs, but people booking might want to ask about it. The room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast was great, and the service was friendly. The location also worked well, within walking distance of the metro and many of Seoul's best sites.
