WONs Ville Myeong-dong

The staff were friendly and helpful, and they could speak English. My double room was a decent size, with daily cleaning, fresh towels, and a complimentary bottle of water each day. The towels were more like face cloths than bath towels, so bring your own if that matters to you. You can ask for extra hangers, and there's a hairdryer with an adapter. Breakfast is included in the room rate and served daily from 7 to 8:45 am, which makes this a good budget option. It's close to Myeongdong's main street but away from the noise and crowds, and the Airport Limousine Bus Stop by Myeongdong Station exit 10 is a seven-minute walk away. I stayed from 27 June to 3 July and enjoyed it enough to come back. There are some steps up to the property, so keep that in mind if you're bringing luggage, a stroller, or using a wheelchair.

The room was on the fourth floor and had one double bed and one single for our family of three. It was small, but we could just fit one large suitcase on the floor. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, though their English was very limited, which seems common in Korea. I didn't take photos since the room looked much like the official pictures. You're not close to a subway station. It's about a 15-minute walk to Myeongdong food street and 7 to 10 minutes to the nearest bus stop. A taxi to Incheon Airport costs around 66,000 KRW. A regular taxi fit the three of us and our two large suitcases.

There are plenty of breakfast spots and convenience stores nearby. The rooms are a little small but have the essentials, and both Chungmuro and Myeongdong stations are about a 5-10 minute walk away. A simple, affordable choice if you just need a no-frills place to stay.

We changed our plans at the last minute and were lucky they still had a room. We stayed from 12/21/2019 to 12/26/2019, and for the price, everything was good. Breakfast came with the room. The buffet options were the same every day, but that's fine, who doesn't like bacon? You can walk to Myeongdong Night market, and there are lots of convenience stores nearby for a late-night snack. All the staff were nice and spoke very good English.
