Seoul Papa Guesthouse

The owner is friendly and replies to messages. The hostel has a well-stocked kitchen with a microwave, kettle, electric stove, and plenty of dishes, cookware, and utensils for cooking. There are two bathrooms, one for women and one shared. The upstairs bathroom has a washing machine and detergent, and you can get a fresh towel each day. Beds are comfortable, with mattress covers but no sheets. Lockers and AC are available too. It's a good place to stay, with what you need for comfortable living.

Tom and the staff are really nice, and Gerry the golden retriever is such a lovely dog. The hostel is clean and comfortable, in a great spot in Seoul, and the price is good. I'd stay again.

Seoul Papa Guesthouse is on a quiet street near Hongik University Metro Station, so it feels peaceful. My sleeping pod was roomy and comfortable, and a locker was provided. The staff were lovely and friendly. A nice restful choice for travelers looking for a calm place to stay.

The guesthouse is in a converted residential house, so there are a few minor flaws. The bathrooms are the usual wet shower and toilet combination, but they're kept clean enough. The kitchen has a decent range of equipment, though food in Korea is cheap, so buying something at a convenience store may save time. There's some shared space, but it doesn't get much use. Laundry is free, and you hang it up to dry. The sleeping pods are spacious, the bedding is washed for each guest, and the cooling works well even in the hot summer, which I can't say about many places in Seoul.
