Justin is friendly and helpful, and he and his mum keep the place spotlessly clean and well stocked. I especially remember relaxing in the lovely courtyard in the morning sun. It’s a basic guesthouse with self-service breakfast in a well-kept traditional hanok, right in central Seoul beside the main tourist attractions.

Staying in a family Hanok in a great Seoul neighborhood made the trip special. Jenny looked after our comfort, kept bottled water in the room, and made sure we had breakfast each morning. I’d happily recommend it. Thanks so much, Jenny!

Jenny made us feel welcome and prepared breakfast herself each morning. The Hanok is small, but cozy and comfortable if you want a traditional stay. We spent 4 days and 3 nights here, and the location made getting around easy: Changdeokgung Palace, Gyeongbukgung Palace, Insadong, Namcheong Park, and Bugaksan Mountain are nearby, while Jongno 3-ga and Anguk stations are about a 10-minute walk away. I’d definitely recommend it for a Seoul visit.

I felt at home here during my time in Seoul. Charm Guest House is peaceful and cozy, yet within walking distance of many sights and close to two metro stations. Jenny, the lovely owner, takes great care of the place and works hard to make a stay memorable. The small Hanok opens onto a central courtyard; the rooms have floor heating, are clean, and are simply but nicely furnished. The shared kitchen and bathrooms were clean too.

The manager speaks English fluently, so it was easy for us to communicate.
