Breakfast was one of the best parts. We stayed four days and three nights and didn’t get tired of the selection. Since this is a Japanese hotel chain, there were Japanese-style dishes too, which we enjoyed. We were there with our two children, and the location inside Myeongdong shopping street made it easy to shop, return for a rest, then head back out. The tradeoff is that taxis can only get to the hotel early in the morning. On the other hand, the airport limousine bus to Incheon Airport is a five-minute walk away on the main road, and you can pay by cash or T-money. The room was a reasonable size for our family, though not especially spacious. The bathtub was nice, and the shower had strong pressure and plenty of hot water, even in winter. I liked that part of the window could be opened slightly. The central air-conditioning blew warm air, so I turned it off and used the window to keep the room cooler. I prefer bright, Muji-style rooms, so the dark furniture and corridor décor weren’t to my taste. The room was acceptably clean, though not exceptional, and dust and details stood out against the dark furniture. The lift carpet looked dirty and poorly maintained, which hurt the hotel’s impression. With the check-in lobby on the 21st floor, guests rely on the lift a lot, so its condition matters. We were happy with our stay and would consider returning to Seoul and staying here again. I hope to see some improvements next time. Thanks, and keep up the good work.

I had a great stay, largely thanks to Ami at the front desk. She took time to explain how to get to each place I wanted to visit, and even found me a phone charger. She was incredibly kind and helpful. The hotel should promote her to manager.

For a tourist, the location worked really well: shops, restaurants, and bars were close, and the subway was an easy walk away. It was handy to come back during the day, and the hotel was clean. Staff were always glad to help, including with booking an airport taxi. The rooms were on the small side, but clean and comfortable, with a bed and sofa. We didn’t hear street noise. We were there during refurbishment, though, and the hammering started quite early. Even so, it was a great stay.

The streets are lively at night, but we couldn’t hear the noise from our room. Myeongdong night market is just steps away. Traffic can get wild, and roads close in the evening. We landed in the late afternoon and what should’ve been an hour’s ride took two hours. The road closure meant our Uber taxi dropped us about a block and a half away. We didn’t mind, and both we and the driver were fed up with the traffic. The lobby on the 21st floor is spacious and beautiful, and check-in was easy, though they gave us a lot of information. Since it was our honeymoon, they gave us a bottle of champagne. The breakfast was delicious, with Western and traditional Korean dishes, and a city view from the 21st floor. I recommend adding it to your booking. Our room had enough space, though with our luggage it couldn’t have been much smaller. The bidet greeted you automatically and was heated. The shower and bathtub were nice, and the water heated up quickly. They brought fresh towels each day, plus American-style towels that we didn’t use because the ones already in the room were enough. They kept bringing the extra towels anyway. There’s a coin washer and dryer with a steamer on the sixth floor. It was one of the cleanest and nicest hotel laundry rooms I’ve seen. I’d recommend staying here if you want to be in Myeongdong or if it’s your first time in Seoul.

The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the rooms are spacious for Seoul, even if they’re not large by American standards. Myeondong walking street, shops, and restaurants are right nearby, as is Myeondong Station and subway line 4. We’d definitely stay here again on our next Seoul trip.
