SR Hotel Seoul

The lounge was a nice place to sit, with comfortable seating and free tea and coffee. The room’s universal plugs were useful, and customer service was nice too. At first the room looked pretty good, but the details let it down. The walls were stained and looked water-damaged, and we could hear the neighbors all the time because there wasn’t enough soundproofing. The gym equipment didn’t work, the dryer was out of order, and the breakfast buffet didn’t offer much variety.

The hotel itself was modern and clean, but sewage or urine smell from the toilet kept us up all night and gave us a bad headache. We only noticed it in the middle of the night and didn’t figure out where it was coming from until later, so we couldn’t ask to change rooms. We’re unhappy that we weren’t refunded for such a horrible one-night stay.

The staff were really friendly, and the location looked great at first. But after settling in, I noticed the blinds needed cleaning and the bedside notebook had a coffee stain and a hair on it. It made me question how clean the room was, and the place clearly needed some renovation. I barely slept, and the dripping water and itchy feeling didn’t help. Maybe I should lower my rating.

I stayed on 7/4/21, and the premium room was lovely. The hotel exceeded what I expected, the price was great, and I especially liked having a balcony. But when I asked the front desk for an extra blanket because my wife prefers to sleep with her own, I was told they had run out after being full the previous night. I was shocked that such a beautiful hotel had no spare blankets. I ended up going to my friend’s house to get one. I don’t know what else to say.
