The Westin Seoul Parnas

The breakfast was fresh, good quality, and had a pretty wide selection. My room was simple but had everything I needed, and the bed was surprisingly comfortable. I only stayed two nights, but COEX was connected right to the hotel, so I could walk around after my meetings. Great location, and I’ll definitely come back next time I’m in Seoul.

The bed was especially comfortable, with excellent bedding, a soft silky-feel blanket and sheet, and a mattress that made it easy to sleep. The aroma oil they provided for sound sleep really helped me have a great night. The room also had a river view, good amenities, a comfortable temperature, and was clean, with a spacious bathroom and separate toilet. There’s plenty to do nearby, with two subway lines connected to the hotel, a huge shopping mall and department store right below, lovely restaurants, and an aquarium for families with kids. The buffet and lobby bar were great for food and drinks, and the employees were kind. I’ll definitely stay at the Westin Seoul Parnas again. It’s my first and best choice for a stay in Seoul, Korea.

For our 34th wedding anniversary, I returned to this property, where I’d often stayed when it was the InterContinental Coex. I’d been looking forward to its reopening under the Westin brand, and this visit exceeded my expectations. The newly renovated hotel showed a guest-first attitude in every corner. Ms. Dohee Kang at On-the-Table noticed I’d asked for decaf and personally brought it over during the busy breakfast rush, wishing me a delicious breakfast. That kind care made our morning and the meal a highlight. The On-the-Table breakfast and Fitness teams kept smiling and serving smoothly despite the rush. At the 30th Floor Club Lounge, Mr. Wonseop Lee welcomed us warmly, celebrated our anniversary, recognized my Ambassador Elite status, and made check-in feel special. Later, during Happy Hour, Mr. Hyunseok Lee kindly offered to take photos for us. Ms. Hana Choi, Ambassador Desk Manager, had called before my arrival to ask what I needed, which moved me and showed that Parnas’s premium service is still alive. Ms. Eunhye Lee, Rooms Team Manager, arranged a personalized printed greeting and a welcoming room. Please pass my thanks to the whole team for such outstanding hospitality.

We spent a week here in the frigid midwinter and made good use of the gym, pool, and related facilities. They may be the best I’ve ever seen at a hotel. I’m told the property was recently refurbished, and it certainly shows. Our package included the 30th level lounge, where we had evening meals with enough variety to avoid getting too repetitive. Breakfast in the 3rd floor lounge had a similarly good selection. The rooms were well appointed and had plenty of amenities, while service was friendly and helpful every time, with an excellent level of English.
