YAB Guesthouse - Female Only

My room was in the basement, so it didn’t get much sunlight or airflow. There was only one toilet on the floor, but it wasn’t an issue for me. The hostel itself was cute and quiet, and the location is great, close to Hongik University metro station and Hongdae shopping street. A good budget stay.

The price is really good, but the bed is hard and the bathroom feels a little old. If your roommates are noisy or spray perfume, you’re out of luck. The place is to the left of the gs25 convenience store.

The mattress was like a rock, so unless you can sleep on a hard surface, you may end up in pain. The rooms are small, smell like sewage, and have no ventilation. It seems they face a dumpster belonging to nearby businesses, and the garbage smell is everywhere. The place is cheap, but taxes and fees make it expensive for what you get. It was filthy, too. The cleaning lady changed pillowcases and blanket covers on a dirty floor covered in footprints and hair.

People were constantly coming and going, and every time someone opened the door I woke up. The noise is a serious problem. I hope the owner fixes it.
