The area feels a bit dull, and there aren't many shops or restaurants around, though being by the sea is nice. I stayed two nights for work. The room was spacious, modern, and good, and the service was good too. Breakfast tasted good, but there wasn't much to choose from.

Wave Park is within walking distance, which is a big plus, but the hotel is in a ghost city with very little open and only a few restaurants. The room itself was beautiful. The bathroom, unfortunately, smelled like raw sewage the whole three-night stay, getting worse each day. By the last day I couldn't even stay in the room, and they offered no compensation. Outside, there was loud heavy-duty construction and noxious chemical smells every time I stepped out. The skyline pool and spa were empty, so there were no hot tub sunsets or muscle relaxation after a day at the park. I definitely wouldn't stay here again for a year or two.

The pool only operates a few hours a day, which left customers unhappy on hot or warm days. I didn't have a very good experience with it. 😕😕
