The location is what makes this place for me. Sokcho's fairly small, and it's close to the beach, with a bus stop right nearby for getting around town or going farther out. The rooms are spacious, the beds were neat and comfortable, and my room had a double bunk bed we shared with friends. The bathroom was clean too. The owner, an older man if I'm remembering right, was really kind. His English might not be great, but we could communicate well enough whenever we needed something. I'd stay here again whenever I visit Sokcho, and would tell others to give it a try.

We showed up at the very last minute, five of us with no booking, and the owner got us sorted out quickly. He was incredibly friendly. There's a cozy little sitting area, and the beach and a convenience store are only a short walk away. I'd recommend staying here in Sokcho, but book ahead since we may just have been lucky.

The room was very clean, and the owner was genuinely nice. There's a bus stop close by, so getting around to different places was easy. A good spot to stay, I'd recommend it.

The host really stood out, such a generous, kind man and very friendly. The room itself was basic but spotless. There's a roomy kitchen and a cozy place to eat too. Definitely recommend it.

Big rooms, a modern look, a nice owner, and a good breakfast. Really liked the place. The one thing that bothered me was the shower, the water wouldn't drain after I used it.
