Yoo was such a kind, wonderful host that I wish I could've stayed longer. The House Hostel felt warm, homely and cozy, with quirky touches, and it was exceptionally clean. It's a walk from the beach and from the bus stop for Seoraksan National Park. I'll definitely come back. Thanks so much, Yoo ☺️

Yoo was incredibly welcoming and friendly. He took the time to explain what to do in the area and gave me great recommendations. After I left my phone on the bus, he even drove me to the bus station, a true gentleman. The hostel has quirky, homely decor and feels warm and cozy throughout. The bed was super comfortable. Its location is excellent, close to the bus station for some amazing hiking spots, and about 5/10 minutes from the town centre.

I slept so well here. The place is peaceful but close to everything, and the gorgeous building is artistically decorated throughout. I had a spotless, comfy room and bed, and the room was a really good size. It had everything I needed: AC, fridge, TV, shampoo, body wash, towels, slippers and hairdryer. The welcome included a rundown of things to do and places to eat, which made me wish I'd booked a longer stay. Free luggage lockers too. I'd recommend it and stay again.

Mr Yoo gave an excellent rundown when I arrived, with recommendations for places to eat and hikes. The bus stop and Intercity bus terminal are very close. It's a charming guesthouse with an eclectic style and spacious rooms, set away from the beach.
