Suncheon Bay Stay

We stayed in the traditional house, in the room on the right. The room was kept so warm at night that my lower back and legs were practically burning. Anyone born in the 1960s will know the feeling, it brought back old memories. They served chicken porridge for breakfast, and it was delicious. Thanks for the lovely stay and meal. I hope the place keeps thriving.

The chicken porridge at breakfast was much too salty, and the cleanliness was a mess. It may not suit people who are used to modern accommodation. Still, the place brought back memories of the warm, sizzling floor at my grandmother's countryside home when I was a child.

I came when the weather was chilly, and soaking in that incredibly hot room felt wonderful. The bathroom ceiling in the room to the right of the main building was beautiful, with the traditional eaves and ribs visible. This place may be hit or miss depending on your age, and I'd especially recommend it to people who enjoy saunas. If you arrive at 3 PM, the usual check-in time, be sure to check your reservation with the historic house. Once you're absorbed in flower viewing in Suncheon, you won't be able to come back early. Thanks for taking care of this historic house. I especially recommend it to people of a certain age.

Staying in an old house was nice, but the breakfast was... well, um. There isn't much nearby, and getting here by public transportation is difficult. The bathroom is tiny, soundproofing isn't great, and the hot water was a bit inconsistent. The room also didn't have a refrigerator, hairdryer, microwave, or the other things shown in the photos.
