Suncheon Ivy

Compared with the place I stayed at below the park last time, this one was much better. The facilities were great, the price was reasonable, and the area was completely quiet. My only regret was that the air conditioning made a bit of noise.

The parking lot is spacious, and the rooms come in tiers priced at 60,000, 70,000, and 90,000 won. This place is in downtown Yeosu. For the price, I didn’t find the facilities or service very good.

After the first room turned out to be dirty, I got a refund and spent ages calling around before I found this place. They said the refund depended on checking that the room hadn't been used, which seemed like it should go without saying. This room was a little cleaner, though the facilities weren't as good as a hotel. I was exhausted from the long drive and it was already late, so I stayed. The Christmas special made rooms hard to find, but charging three times the usual price for a dirty room felt shameless. I was so disgusted and miserable. Please get a grip, you parasites.

The weekday breakfast is basic, just cup noodles, toast, and juice, but it's provided, and there's plenty of parking. The room is clean and has a bathtub, which helped me unwind after a business trip. I also found the Styler handy for getting my clothes ready for the next day.
