Hotel K World

The room temperature was comfortable, though the basics in the bathroom weren't provided. We arrived late in the evening after a long workday, on a weekday, and luckily the rain had stopped. There were two of us, traveling for work rather than tourism. After more than ten years living in Korea and staying at many hotels, I've never had to buy essentials like a toothbrush, soap, or razor separately. The facilities list said “toiletries,” but there weren't any in the room. If these aren't supplied, the hotel page should say so clearly so guests can bring their own. At check-in, we expected the receptionist to give us toothbrushes or explain what was available, but instead they had to get up and show us the vending machine to buy what we needed. At least there was toilet paper in the bathroom. It was a little cold outside on December 13, but the room was very warm, too warm for comfort. We asked to lower the temperature, but it stayed hot, so we ended up turning on the air conditioner. I think the heating needs better energy control, and some of what's spent on excessive heating could go toward basic toiletries like soap and toothbrushes. On the plus side, the two cups of coffee helped settle things after an uncomfortable check-in. I'd only recommend staying if you bring all your own hygiene items. I wouldn't choose this hotel again.
