I left after the second night even though I’d booked six. I was there for a business trip and chose to spend my own money on another hotel because I couldn’t bear staying there any longer. There’s no reception, and nobody to help if you need anything. Loud, frightening screams from other rooms kept me awake and made me fear for my safety. I can’t fault the bedsheets or bathroom sink for cleanliness, but I did not feel safe in the place. It felt like a group of rooms being used for some questionable business by questionable people. If I could give zero stars, I would. Avoid it if you can.

Food nearby is easy to find and costs less than in other places. Around 8,000 to 10,000 won is fine here. They accept Visa and MasterCard, so bring either and you can pay for everything. I love South Korea and would stay at Blanc Gangnam Hotel again.

The place was dirty and had a bad atmosphere. When I checked in, there was ramen inside the water boiler in my room.

It’s close to downtown, with the restaurant street and Gangnam’s main street easy to reach. The window is small, and check-in is a bit late.
