I was startled when a yellow dog grabbed my shoes from the rack outside. It'd be better to keep shoes inside the room or put them on the desk. The room itself was spacious and in good shape, and it was clean considering the age of the building.
There's a good range of ways to stay here, from pensions and caravans to camping. The facilities are good, and it's also a nice place to just unwind.
The morning air feels crisp, and there are lots of places to walk around in this large, varied rest area. I do wish they'd update some of the facilities. ^^ 😀
I was frightened by all the chaos in the middle of the night, so I left for a motel to get some sleep. People were fighting until dawn, smashing bottles, yelling, and running around with shovels. When I asked the owner to step in, they only cursed louder and woke everyone up. Then they made a huge scene and refused to refund me. I managed to get back the cost of just one night out of the two, but between that and the motel I ended up paying double. Absolutely the worst, strongly don't recommend it.
Don't go here. The owner is usually away and won't answer the phone. The electric boiler gets too hot, and the circuit breaker keeps tripping. When I asked to move rooms, the owner told the manager to give me a room like that. The owner tells customers to switch rooms like this, then has gone into hiding.
