My room was clean, and the owner was friendly. There’s a lounge and dining area on the 9th floor with a full-service kitchen, free coffee and tea, and lovely ocean views. The views from the place itself are magnificent too.

For a night in the Yangyang/Sokcho area, this hotel is a good option. The ocean-view rooms are the best, and there’s already a great view from the lounge.

For a budget stay, this is a decent two-star hotel with a good location and service. The staff are friendly, and it runs in a self-service style. The room has everything you need. Nothing fancy, but more than enough for an affordable getaway.

The room was tiny and old, with no soundproofing at all, yet I was charged 160000 KRW. I’d mentioned on the booking app that it was clean and had a good view, but warned people to avoid holiday periods because the price was unreasonably high. Even though I tried to keep my comment gentle despite feeling ripped off, they reported it and tried to get it removed. This was the worst place I’ve stayed, and I’ll never go back.
