Yeongju Wiz Hotel

At check-in, I said hello, handed over my passport, and said I wanted to check in. The staff member returned it and asked for my name. When she didn't understand me, I pointed to the name on the passport, but she kept repeating “name! name!” and getting more agitated. I typed “My name is (inserted my name)” into Google Translate and held it next to my passport, but she waved me away and wouldn't look. Then she came back shouting “name! Name!” again. She showed me her list of expected guests, where my name was listed. I pointed to it and repeated my name, but she said no and insisted I was another person on the list, “Yuri Choi.” I told her I wasn't Yuri Choi, but she kept insisting I was. A very bizarre interaction with a rude staff member.
