Sono Calm Yeosu

Parking was plentiful, the food was decent, and the staff were friendly. The rooms felt a little dated, but they were clean and comfortable. What surprised me was that the lounge had run out of beer. Since it was a packaged product, I wondered whether there should at least have been compensation when none was available, or whether it should be offered at all. The hallways and lounge had no air conditioning. I asked several times for the hallways to be cooled, but nothing changed, so I left feedback on the card. With heatwaves in the news, I found myself thinking about the workers who have to spend every day in those conditions. We only stayed briefly, but it must be even more uncomfortable for the staff working there day after day.

The breakfast was delicious, the room was beautiful, and there were plenty of amenities. The staff were kind too. One of the nicest hotels I've stayed at in South Korea, and a place I'd say is a must-stay.

Getting around to other attractions was easy from this location. The ocean view was great, and my room was extremely clean. The concierge and the rest of the staff were all very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend staying here. You won't be disappointed.

The waterfront setting is great for getting around on foot. The island and cable car are right there, plenty of restaurants are nearby, and there's a GS25 in the hotel. We've stayed at a lot of other Sono hotels, and this was our most expensive visit. I'm not sure why it cost so much. The family suite was okay, though it looked like it hadn't been renovated since the hotel was built. The cleaning wasn't very good either, and everything felt overpriced.
