The location is lovely and convenient, and it’s a cheap place, so I knew what I was signing up for. It’s a little run down, which I expected for the price. Still, my room, number 3, had a roof leak that got pretty bad when it rained, and the bed felt like a rock. You’ll need your own toilet paper or wipes because the shared bathroom had none. There were roaches, house centipedes, and lots of mosquitoes in my room, though one host did give me bug spray. The hosts have a cat and a dog. While I was there, the dog went to the bathroom in different spots, and they left it on the floor for a few days before cleaning it up. It’s a cheap option, and bringing your own bedding might make it a fairly nice stay.

I booked 33 nights but checked out after 13 days, even though I couldn’t get a refund. It’s a cheap choice compared with other places near Seoul, but I didn’t expect service this poor. The area outside the room was unclean, and the bath and toilet were unhygienic, with months’ worth of dirty, used toilet wipes stored in the toilet. The advertised shared kitchen wasn’t there or available. I can’t attach photos because taking them is prohibited.
