The St. Regis Kuwait

The food and drinks at the English Tea Room were delicious, and there was plenty for two. I visited with a dear friend and we had such a lovely time. Younus and Jouwara served us with pride and efficiency, and their service was exquisite. I’d be very happy to visit again.

I wouldn’t recommend this venue for wedding planning or similar events. The event planning department’s communication was inconsistent and unprofessional, and different staff gave us conflicting information at different points. Some solutions were offered and then changed or withdrawn without a clear reason, which caused unnecessary confusion and stress. At times the tone felt aggressive instead of supportive, and there was little flexibility when we raised reasonable concerns. The experience fell well below the professional standard we expected.

Mr. Younus made the afternoon especially memorable with his warm, gracious manner, professionalism, attention to detail, and deep knowledge of the service. I also appreciated how attentive the team was throughout my High Afternoon Tea at St. Regis Kuwait. The elegant presentation and organization reflected the St. Regis standard of excellence. The Indian restaurant on the seventh floor is the reason I’d come back to this hotel. The Chef there is incredibly talented. I’ve visited 107 countries and live in New York, so I know good food when I have it. I own restaurants too, and even considered trying to poach him to bring him back to New York.
