Holiday Inn Suites Kuwait by IHG

The suites stood out for their size and furnishings. Some include a living room and kitchen alongside the bedroom and bathroom or bathrooms. They sit in building 3, while the hotel rooms are in buildings 1 and 2. All guests use the same main entrance for check-in, whether staying in the hotel or suites. There are plenty of places to eat on site, including an all-day dining restaurant with buffet breakfast, à la carte lunch and dinner, and buffet dinner on some days. Other options include Asian, Japanese sushi, Indian, steakhouse, Lebanese, and café venues. The hotel also has spacious rooms, meeting rooms, a gym, and an outdoor pool. Staff are very friendly and go out of their way to help. Airport pickup and drop-off are complimentary. The corniche, shopping malls, eateries, and cafés are within walking distance. A fine hotel in the Salmiya area of Kuwait City.

For a sea-view stay in Kuwait, this is the best place I've found. The staff are great and the hospitality makes for a comfortable visit. They also provide free airport transfers.

The shared pool and gym are decent, though they can get busy since outsiders use them too. The meeting rooms are well equipped for business events, and the restaurants have a nice range of good food. Staff were friendly and professional, and the hospitality was good. It was a comfortable, enjoyable stay.

I'm not convinced by this hotel, especially its service. They said they'd reimburse the points through my IHG account, but unfortunately that still hasn't happened.
