Kuwait Palace Hotel

The reception staff just ignored my complaints and weren’t cooperative. Maintenance drilling started in the morning and kept going, so it was impossible to sleep. Really bad experience. Don’t waste your money here.

I’ve never had a worse hotel experience anywhere. It was so dirty, though unfortunately I didn’t take photos of the room or furniture.

The location is handy, close to the beach, supermarket, and shops, and the price is okay. The room was good and the bathroom clean, but the bathroom looks really old. I wasn’t sure whether the bed sheets had been used, and they made me feel a little itchy. The air conditioning was very loud. It’s nice that there’s an electric stove, though you have to buy a frying pan. For a studio, washing-up liquid would be useful, and I’d prefer a microwave too. The pool was a little oily. The gym looked good, though I didn’t use it. I felt the hotel was fine for a woman traveling alone.

It’s quiet, and most rooms have a sea view. There’s parking for people with wheelchairs, though no wheelchair is available. The service is nice, and things are close by. The price is very good, especially for a monthly stay. There are female-only pool sessions as well as mixed access. The gym is small but has equipment for daily workouts. Decent, quiet animals are welcome, which helps keep the atmosphere calm for kids too. Basement activities are within walking distance, including an indoor pool for birthdays and small gatherings at a very affordable price.
