The way to the place takes some planning: the last 150 m of street is steep and rough, and only a big car can get up. We suggest leaving your car in the parking area and texting the owner for a pickup. It felt safer when he came in his big car. Our hair dryer was broken, though luckily we had brought our own. The view is the main attraction. From the room you can see all of Almaty and the snowy Tian Shan Mt., especially from sunset into the night. The air up there is cold and the weather is good. The room and furniture were good too, and the toilet had all the amenities. The TV connects to Wi-Fi, Netflix, YouTube, and more. And Milka, the owner's cat, is so cute! Thank you to Ruslan, who was friendly and ready to welcome us even though we arrived late.

The view from up here over Almaty is mesmerizing. We had an excellent stay, with great support from the local caretaker.

Kirill was a friendly, helpful host, and we’d happily recommend his cozy cabin overlooking Almaty. It had what we needed for a weekend away, with a warm, comfortable room and useful things like a teapot, snacks, and a refrigerator. Out back, there’s a lovely view, outdoor seating, and a spot for making shashlyk. We plan to return.

Bring your own food, since there aren’t any stores nearby. We visited in winter and loved it, and the sauna is worth using then too. It costs very little. Alma House gave us such a wonderful stay, with peaceful surroundings and an amazing view. The rooms were cozy, the vibes were great, and the sauna was lovely. Roman was a cheerful, helpful host, and I’m grateful for everything from pickup to drop-off, especially at such a small charge. He also made beautiful arrangements for my wife's Birthday. If you want a quiet place with a great view in Almaty, this is it.
