The rooftop restaurant on the 11th floor is a highlight for its atmosphere and views. The hotel also has a well-equipped spa and indoor pool that make it easy to unwind, along with a fitness center that meets international standards. Rooms are clean, comfortable, and spacious, with contemporary décor, tea and coffee facilities, free WiFi, and in some cases views of the Trans-Ili Alatau mountains. The lobby and exterior look polished and modern, and guests are welcomed with the familiar DoubleTree chocolate-chip cookie. It’s easy to reach the metro, business districts, and cultural attractions from here. Although the setting is central, it feels relatively quiet, and the hotel works well for both work trips and time away. Staff were friendly, professional, and helpful. With comfortable rooms, wellness facilities, and services for working or relaxing, DoubleTree by Hilton Almaty is a strong choice for a city stay.

I arrived from Astana around 10 PM for a business trip and found the bathroom had no water. Reception sent a maintenance worker who didn’t speak English and then disappeared. Only later was I told there was a general water cut, with no advance notice, updates, or solution. The water returned in the morning, but it was black and dirty, so I didn’t consider it safe to use. This was a deeply disappointing stay at DoubleTree by Hilton Almaty. The communication and management were unacceptable, and I left on September 27 very disappointed.

We had three rooms for 16 nights, from 15 to 31 December 2025, and the service didn’t match the high accommodation cost. As a Gold Hilton Honors member, I expected my complaints to be handled better. I reported several problems, but nothing satisfactory came of it. Cleaning was inadequate and was usually skipped unless I complained. The WiFi was unreliable and had poor coverage, the AC airflow was weak, and street noise and people talking could be heard throughout the night, which I believe is due to the walls and windows not being soundproof. I haven’t had service this modest at another Hilton, and I wouldn’t recommend the hotel because the room charges don’t feel justified.

After our tours around Almaty, the DoubleTree by Hilton was a calm, relaxing place to return to for four days 😌🏔️. The staff were always so helpful and went out of their way whenever we needed anything 🙌. Huge thanks to Mr. Aibar and his team for the great service 👏😊. We were very happy here and would definitely recommend the hotel 👍🏨.

The quick, friendly service made a strong impression, and everyone I met was efficient and helpful. The hotel is close to the city center, so getting out to explore was easy. My room was spotless and had everything I needed, including a safe, and felt like a comfortable retreat. I also appreciated the well-equipped spa and fitness center, and the breakfast had a great selection each morning. I had a wonderful stay and would happily book again.
