Holiday Inn Almaty

We stayed six days with family. The hotel and rooms were clean, though the carpets looked a little worn. Housekeeping was top notch and cleaned my room every day without any issues. The reception team deserves a special mention too, everyone was helpful and went out of their way to help us settle in. There's a cafe in the hotel with desks and chairs that work well for using a laptop. It's not right by the main center, about 2 km away, and I walked there most days, but the hotel is very close to Forum Mall. For people from the US with a Schwab debit card, the Halyk Bank ATM wasn't working when I wrote this. You can find Halyk ATMs throughout the area and in the hotel lobby. At the mall, there's a place with ATMs for nearly all banks, and the Eurasia Bank ATMs worked with Schwab.

Our stay was really nice, thanks to Tamer. The restaurant serves food 24*7, and the front desk staff are courteous and helpful. Housekeeping is on point, and you can request it when it suits you. The hotel is centrally located in the main area and easy to reach from the road.

The breakfast spread was really good, and the Holiday Inn staff provided great service in a great location. Mr Tamer welcomed us and took care of us.

The decor feels luxurious, and the staff were amazingly helpful. Special thanks to front desk Supervisor Mr. Bahitzan and Restaurant Host Mr Shobi Tamer. A great option for tourists visiting Almaty City, with good rooms and a massive breakfast spread that includes several vegan options.
