Q7 Almaty Hostel

The beds are firm and really comfortable, and the hostel is quite neat. There’s filtered drinking water, luggage storage and a hairdryer in the bathroom. You need to take your shoes off before going in. I did notice that beds inside may not get the best ventilation, and there aren’t any hangers or a good place to put things in the toilet. It seemed a little funny that staff asked us to book online instead of directly with them, since the platform takes a commission. Otherwise, things were pretty good. The women’s dorms are upstairs and the men’s are downstairs.

I spent one night at Q7 Hostel in Almaty and was impressed, especially for the price, around 200+ PHP. The beds were clean and cared for, and the toilets were spotless. They also had drinking water, which was convenient. There’s a cozy shared area where you can relax and meet other guests, so it has a welcoming feel for backpackers and solo travelers. The owner was friendly and accommodating, and made sure guests were comfortable. It’s a clean, affordable, friendly place, and I’d happily book Q7 Hostel again next time I'm in town.

The place was clean, tidy and modern, and it was great value for money. The owners were so welcoming and friendly that we felt at home. They even made us a traditional breakfast. I had an amazing stay at Hostel Q7 and would highly recommend it.

The kitchen was a big plus for me. There are two large refrigerators for storing food, and you can cook there. The hostel is new, really clean, and very cheap. The owner was amazing and the service was great. You can walk just about everywhere, too. I’ll definitely come back. Nice to see you again, Ms Zika!
