Mercury Hotel

My single room was clean and nice. The cafeteria downstairs serves delicious food at low prices, so it's packed at lunchtime with people who work nearby. There isn't much room, so eating in your room is probably best. I arrived in the evening and bought a can of beer at reception for three times what it costs in a store.

They sprayed some kind of poison on me, and now my things smell. They don't tell you anything, and I found the staff rude when no one else was around. The hotel is unfairly expensive, and staying for a long time isn't affordable. For this price, there are places in the city center with more competent staff.

We needed a place for the night while passing through to another city, and arrived at 5 a.m. The double room was great, warm and had a large bed, shower and toilet. Towels and slippers were there, as were disposable shampoo, toothbrushes and toothpaste, a nice touch. There's also a great cafe on the ground floor with reasonable prices. Excellent service, and I'd recommend it.

I’m really grateful to this cafe. Lunch is delicious and inexpensive, and the pastries are great too. I especially love the buns and cheesecakes. Service is quick, and we always manage to find a seat, even when we come after 1:00 PM.
