The Place Astana Hostel

It’s right in the center, the beds are good, and they keep the place clean. For a fair price, this is quite a good hostel. The son, who handles communication on WhatsApp, is really helpful with everything. The mother’s service was the one thing that let it down for me. I arrived very early and she let me choose a bed, so I picked a lower one, which I prefer. When I came back later, she’d given it to someone else and seemed to have forgotten she’d offered it to me, then told me I had to take an upper bed. At checkout, I left my bed at 12 and only wanted to sit in the living room briefly to sort out a few things online, but she told me to leave right away. That’s the first time a hostel has made me leave the living room immediately at checkout, when usually it’s enough to give up the bed. It was still a good stay and I’d recommend them, but they should improve this part of the service.
