It’s a large, pleasant hotel with clean, comfortable rooms and a friendly, helpful staff. There’s a buffet breakfast every day, and the bar stays open late. The facilities include a gym, sauna, Turkish bath, and even a bowling alley right next door. A small shopping mall is across the street, with ATMs, fast food places, and shops inside. There’s also a large mosque and a church within walking distance.

My wife and I stayed here from October 4 to 5, 2025, on our way from Kokshetau to Almaty. We were freezing in those rooms, which felt like Soviet era sobering-up stations. And somehow, two adults were given a child’s bed and a child’s blanket. I just wanted to swear. The breakfast was absolute crap too, with a pathetic menu and scrambled eggs cooked terribly. The place looks like a Soviet-era advanced training institute, or more exactly, the hotel where Leonid Filatov’s character stayed in the film "City Zero." I’ll never set foot in that institution again.
