Kostanay Plaza is nearby, which is a real plus. The hotel itself is nice and warm, and feels worth the price. Breakfast gets repetitive, though I guess that's down to the cost. The porridge is tasty.

The rooms were spacious and clean, and the location was convenient. I liked how cozy and homey everything felt, with a tasteful style. The receptionist was friendly and polite, and beautiful too.

2/10
We were only passing through, and the sound quality was awful. The staff tried to be polite, but communication was really poor. Maybe that was just the shift we got, or maybe they hired whoever was available. The reviews had been so good, which made this a real letdown. Management doesn't seem to care about comments at all))) Customer focus is zero, though maybe that's normal in Kostanay. Such a shame.

We've stayed here three times now, and generally liked it. The place is clean, comfortable and cozy, and the breakfasts were delicious. Our rooms had slippers, fresh towels, toothbrushes, toothpaste and toiletries. There were a few issues: one room's shower wouldn't drain, dinner choices were limited, and soundproofing was poor. The room had no view. Still, we'll definitely come back.
