Champasak Grand Hotel

The river views were especially lovely in the evening, with the city lights reflected on the water. Our room was spacious, and the hotel was kept beautifully clean. The restaurant had tasty food that suited the calm atmosphere. The staff were warm and professional, always greeting us with a smile. Thanks especially to Khun Bom and team Khan, Meo, Chan, phone, Aomsin, Sonexay. The location also made it easy to reach nearby attractions. I had a wonderful stay and plan to come back on my next visit.

The restaurant is on the upscale side, but I thought the food was worth the price, and the breakfast buffet had everything I wanted. For Laos, where the food is generally good, I was still pleasantly surprised by the meals here. The value felt justified. I spent three nights here and had a really lovely stay. Service was exceptionally friendly and helpful, and the standards were high without the place feeling decadent. I'd recommend visiting.

My reservation through Agoda clearly asked for a river view, and I paid extra for it, but the hotel's system had me down for a city view. Luckily, they had another room available and could switch me. If the hotel had been full, that would have been extremely inconvenient and unacceptable. The rooms at Champasak Grand Hotel are spacious, and a river view is great if you get one. They look a little dated, though the view helps. The WiFi was just okay, while the AC worked well and there was plenty of hot water for a shower or bath. It's one of the nicest hotels in Pakse.

The location felt peaceful and convenient, with nice views and easy access to key areas. The rooms were clean, roomy, and comfortable, and the service stayed attentive and professional from check-in through check-out. A well-run hotel, and I'd happily stay here again.
