The location worked well for sightseeing, since the Old Town isn’t too far away. Outside, there’s a pool and lots of seating where you can relax, chat, or work. The courtyard is spacious and pretty, and the staff are friendly. Rooms are small, but clean and cozy. Breakfast has four choices, all bread-based. It was decent, though after three days it felt repetitive. The water pressure is quite weak in the morning, and the amenities are a little lacking. I might still stay here again if I return to Luang Prabang.

Fam, the owner, is lovely. She arranged scooters, tuk tuks, and train tickets for me during my two stays. The rooms are decent and there’s a basic breakfast, though a fridge in the room might be useful. It’s set back from the road in a fairly quiet spot, with some nice places to sit and relax in the garden. The night market and center are a 10-minute walk away, and there are a few local restaurants and shops around the corner. I enjoyed staying here.

The rooms were clean, the toilets super clean, and it was definitely not noisy. We booked three rooms and had an excellent stay for a small price. You can change money at reception, and the restaurants next door do amazing steamboat and fried rice. It’s a very local, rustic part of Luang Prabang, which I personally prefer to the Riverside area, where it’s just OVER touristy. There’s good food nearby and it’s close to Lao Disco. What else does a fun-loving, kind, adventurous person need? 👌

There’s quite a lot of construction happening at the moment, but it should make the place even better soon. It’s a little way out of town, though the walks are short and pleasant if you don’t mind that. The guest house is near some really good restaurants and the supermarket. The rooms are pretty good for the price. Small ants and mosquitos could be frustrating if they bother you.
