Villa Deux Rivieres

Hotel Villa Deux Rivieres was a peaceful, relaxing place to come back to after a day out. It’s right by the river and within a short walk of the night market, temples and other main attractions. My room was spacious, clean and nicely decorated with traditional touches. The staff were kind and attentive, and I appreciated their warm welcome and local tips. I enjoyed breakfast in the lovely dining area, then sitting on the balcony with coffee and a quiet river view. The hotel strikes a nice balance of comfort, charm and convenience. Highly recommended for a visit to Luang Prabang.

I only stayed one night at Hotel Villa Deux Rivieres, but the staff made it a memorable visit. They were polite, friendly and quick to help with every request, and their genuine kindness made me feel right at home. They even offered extra amenities and useful local recommendations. After a long day of travel, my room was a comfortable, spotless place to relax, and it was beautifully appointed. Breakfast was a real highlight, with plenty of choices for different tastes and every dish deliciously prepared. The lovely dining area made for a great start to the day. I’m grateful for the care the team put into my stay, and would wholeheartedly recommend the hotel to other travelers. I hope to return!

We spent five days here and enjoyed it a lot. Our family room had two large, comfortable beds, two balconies, a big bathroom and a good desk for working. The view of the Namkhan river was lovely, and the main temples and markets were all within walking distance. The staff were friendly and caring, and helped us rent a bike for a waterfall visit. They also arranged a money exchange at the proper rate, with a guy arriving at the hotel on a motorbike with plenty of money. Now that’s what I call good service! Breakfast was mostly Lao soup, eggs and toast, plus one of the best butter croissants I’ve ever had. The only drawback was that they only had Nescafé coffee, though it was still better than some local roasts. I’d certainly recommend the hotel. We’re a bit sad to leave.

The river view is lovely, and it’s quieter here than at hotels in the main tourist area. The villa itself has a nice layout, and our room was very clean with a good bathroom. We had a deluxe room, though, and it felt quite small. Breakfast was just okay, and there was no coffee machine, only instant coffee.
