We had 10 fabulous days here as a family. The staff were attentive and helpful, with plenty of good advice. Villa Maydou feels secluded, peaceful, and lush, yet it’s easy to walk into the town center. A beautiful place to relax. Thank you!

Mr Bounsoun really stood out among the staff. He was kind and helpful, and gave us a glimpse of how open and friendly the Laos people are. We had a great first trip to Luang prabang and enjoyed every second. The professional staff and excellent service made it especially memorable. We’ll definitely return. Thank you 🙏👏👏

A charming boutique hotel with a lovely pool where you can relax and enjoy natural local ice-cream. The bedroom was beautiful, and breakfast was very good.

After a day exploring, the pool was a great place to unwind, and the on-site restaurant had delicious meals with a good choice of local dishes. Villa Maydou is an absolute gem in the heart of Luang Prabang. The rooms were spacious, spotlessly clean, and tastefully decorated, with modern comforts and local charm. Staff welcomed us warmly from the moment we arrived. The traditional Lao architecture and well-kept gardens gave the place a peaceful, authentic feel.

It’s quiet here, but you can walk everywhere. The rooms are awesome, with everything you could want, and the verandahs are lovely for sitting out. The pool was great for a swim. The hotel has a lovely heritage feel, and the staff were great, especially Boun Sou in the restaurant at breakfast.
