The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was okay, though real coffee would improve it. Rooms seem newly built or renovated, with comfortable beds and nice sheets, safes, strong air conditioning, and good-pressure hot water. The hotel is clean and up to date, on a quiet soi in a central spot near both the morning and night markets. There’s a secure area for motorbike parking.

It’s peaceful inside even though everything is close by. The rooms are clean, nice, and comfortable, and the family business is run by a charming, smiling, helpful husband and wife. They even did my laundry for free and helped me rent a motorbike. The location is perfect, right in the heart of town: one minute to the night market, 0.2 minutes to the morning market, and 0.5 minutes to the makong river. I loved this place!!!

For a budget hotel, it’s quite nice. The room was big and clean, the WiFi speed decent, and the staff friendly. It’s near the night and morning markets and the Mekong river pier. One of the male staff members was a bit pushy and might keep asking you to rent a motorbike.

The rooms were great, though ours on the ground floor had no view. We were out all day anyway. The family owner was very friendly, lives on site, and works to keep you happy. The hotel is right by the morning market, close to everything, but far enough away that it isn’t noisy. Breakfast was great and cooked to order, especially the banana pancake. They can arrange laundry, and we paid in US$. Remember to take your shoes off when entering. We didn’t get soap or shampoo, so bring your own, and don’t flush the toilet paper. We arranged a private Tuk Tuk to Kuang Si for 250k kip, with a three-hour wait, an airport ride for 50k kip, and a private boat trip to Pak Ou caves for 350k kip. The boat was really old and uncomfortable, so maybe we got ripped on that one. Can’t recommend Luang Prabang enough.
