Tuk at reception was super friendly and helpful with all our questions. He arranged transport to the train station and helped us rent a scooter. Breakfast was included, with a choice of banana pancake or eggs cooked how you liked, plus juice, fruit, baguette, jam, and butter. The hotel is in a small side street right by the night market and Mekong River, and we loved how central it was. Our room was spacious and the beds were fairly comfortable. We had to put two twin beds together because no double room was available. I worried about what might be under them, but the floor was clean and tidy, no nasty surprises! That said, I think our room was the least nice. From the breakfast table, we could see another room that looked prettier, with wooden walls and more furniture. The walls in ours were very thin, too. We could hear everything, and woke at 6:30 AM to a neighbor choking and spitting in the bathroom as if he were in ours. For the price, it was okay, but if I’d stayed longer, I would have changed rooms rather than hear those awful noises again.

Took was the main person at the front desk and was always there to help. Great guy! The staff were really good and helpful, and if we hung the tag on the door, they serviced the room. Laundry was available for a small fee. The hotel is centrally located and quiet, though our room above the outdoor kitchen got a little noisy in the morning. It wasn’t a big deal. It was cold for several days, and there was no heater. The room was said to have two-way AC, but it either wasn’t working or only cooled, with no heat.

It feels like an old country house in Laos, and I love the place. The staff were always smiling and helpful, giving us ideas for travel around Luang Prabang. The river, Old palace, Morning market, and night market are all just a minute’s walk away.

We hadn't planned to stay here. Our first hotel had overbooked and booked us in for two nights. The location is good and breakfast was nice, and the staff were friendly and very helpful. The manager especially came through for us with train tickets. One agent said they were fully booked, and the ticket office in town had only one left. We were feeling pretty discouraged, but he found two tickets somewhere and saved us a seven-hour van ride. We paid extra, but got the tickets. A lifesaver.

The staff were lovely and very helpful, and the price was cheap. We had a nice two-night stay with breakfast and tried two sets, American breakfast and an omelet set. You could choose drinks, including mango or banana juice, coffee, or tea. It’s private and close to everything: the Night and Morning markets are just 50 m from the villa, while Pusi Mountain and the Museum are 300 m away. I recommend it and would stay again.
