I spent a month here, enjoying the peaceful spot right by the river and the setting at the end of a little village, about a 10-minute drive from central Luang Prabang. The owner has built a boutique compound with 8-10 well-appointed residences. It would suit a short or long stay, especially if you just want somewhere to be and enjoy living in Laos. There’s an onsite pool and access to the river in certain seasons, which would be great for some kinds of sports. The place is up for sale as the owner is planning to retire. If you’re interested in investing in Laos, I recommend checking it out. It’s always bustling with people, so rental yields are likely to be excellent. For a stay longer than a week, this hidden-corner jewel is well worth a look.

Everything else was fine and we liked the resort, so I’m giving it five stars despite a few small glitches, though honestly I’d give it four and a half if I could. The cleaning lady was very tidy, the pool was cleaned regularly, the small sauna was nice, the kitchen was well equipped, and the internet was fine. The owners were friendly. I’d only take off half a star because arranging things wasn’t easy. The masseuse never showed up, and we waited an hour for nothing. I’m allergic to waiting on vacation.

The garden and the surrounding scenery were so lovely and peaceful, and I had plenty of privacy. The houses are comfortable for both remote workers and people on holiday, and the pool was a great bonus. Luc was always ready to help, and being able to borrow an e-bike made trips to the shops for food easy. I’d happily recommend staying here in Luang Prabang. Thanks, Luc and Boun!

We spent seven nights here with our three young kids and all of us had a great time. The apartment was lovely, with a nice pool and a beautiful view. Luke and his wife were wonderful hosts and available whenever we had questions. I’d recommend it to anyone :)

I worked remotely from this quiet, pleasant apartment for a week. The internet connection was reliable for video calls, and the garden and pool were lovely places to unwind while looking out over the Nam Khan river.
