Jennida Guesthouse

The rooms and whole place were kept clean and in good shape, and the staff were friendly and helpful. They also had the practical basics covered, like laundry, a little grocery shop, coffee, and water. Nothing fancy, but for the money the value was hard to beat. One of the best places I've found in Southeast Asia, and I'd gladly return.

Our five days here were enjoyable, and the guesthouse was super clean. The staff were friendly, the location was good, and we got clean towels almost every day. The room was a little humid, but that was okay. Scooter rental was the downside: after asking nearly every rental place, we found one for 150k a day, while the usual rate seemed to be 200k, which feels expensive for Laos. I'd recommend the guesthouse.

It's a simple, decent guesthouse at a fair price, with clean, comfortable rooms and consistently nice, friendly staff. There are a few restaurants nearby. I've stayed here whenever I travel to Phonesavanh and have always been satisfied.

The room was spacious and clean, and the lobby shows the rate, 100k per night at the time, so there was no need to bargain x). The shower wasn't very strong, though there was still some hot water. The entrance is on the main road, but the building sits in an inner courtyard, which keeps it fairly calm, and there's space to park a motorbike. The person at the lobby speaks a little English.
