Very clean, but the bed was really uncomfortable. The woman in charge wasn't very friendly either.

Very clean, but the bed was really uncomfortable. The woman in charge wasn't very friendly either.

For 120 thousand kip a night, it had everything I needed. The market is nearby, as is the main street for food or scooter rentals. The room felt cozy, the bed was good with a nice pillow, and the Wi-Fi worked well.
I stayed for three weeks and chose the cheapest room, about 60000 LAK a night. At that price I can't complain too much, but the Wi-Fi was really, really slow, and my shower only had a few drops of warm water. The cleaning staff did a good job, there was free water and (nes)coffee, and the owner was obliging. One more tip: if you're traveling as a couple, it's better to go ask the price alone.
We spent four nights here and really enjoyed it. The room was cleaned daily and the towels were changed, with hot and cold water plus coffee and tea available around the clock. For a very reasonable price, we had a clean room with a bathroom, hot water, AC, TV, and a fan.
At $7 a night, it’s hard to beat. I come back regularly because you get what you pay for: a comfortable bed and strong WiFi.
