The bed was comfortable, and the front desk staff were polite and helpful. They suggested a nice restaurant up the road and arranged a tuk tuk for us. With plenty of work, this could become a good resort again, but it needs a lot of care and maintenance. I suspect it fell into disrepair during the Covid pandemic. Our shower leaked, and mould in the bathroom hadn't been cleaned properly. The Wi-Fi didn't work, the pool was dirty, and there was no restaurant open for dinner. Breakfast wasn't worth the effort. One staff member sat on her phone at reception instead of taking care of some simple cleaning. I wish we'd checked recent reviews before booking.

The Deluxe room was comfortable, and the staff were lovely and gave good service. The breakfast buffet had a nice range of international and western food. The pool was a letdown for my kids. It was dirty, and the filter pumps weren't running, so we couldn't swim. If having a pool matters to you, ask whether it's available when you book.

We ate here several times and were never disappointed, though prices were about 10-15% higher than at a similar restaurant. Breakfast was a small but fresh buffet with Thai, Western, and Laos options. The spacious grounds, well-kept garden, and huge swimming pool made us feel comfortable, along with the friendly staff. We also used the spa facilities, including a fully equipped gym, and got massages.

The worst hotel experience my family has had, and a waste of money. The garden was dirty and the pool had turned green, so it couldn't be used. The rooms need renovating, and the hotel badly needs maintenance. The Wi-Fi only had a signal at the front desk, none in our room. The air conditioner wasn't working properly and blew hot air.
