Dinner at the hotel restaurant was quite good, while breakfast was just okay. The rooms are separate little huts, so they feel private, and ours was rustic, beautiful, and had a lovely river view. We got help with our luggage at check-in because some rooms are a long way from reception, but there was no assistance when we checked out. I’d still like to stay here again.

The owner and staff were really helpful, and the breakfast buffet was the best we’d had in ages. We especially liked the private river bungalows, with their roomy interiors, good furnishings, and lovely decks looking out over the water.

The breakfast buffet had plenty of tasty choices, and the service was friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious, the beds were more comfortable than we expected, and the setting just below the mountains is beautiful.

It’s a little way outside the village center, which made it quiet and peaceful. Nights were quite cool, and we had a nice view. A pool would make the place even better. We had a great time here.

I didn’t want to leave. The staff were sweet, friendly, and hardworking, and they cleaned daily with fresh towels and linens. Breakfast was amazing too. Our bungalow was airy and spacious, with a big balcony and plenty of privacy. Right by the river, it was quiet but still an easy walk to wherever we wanted to go, with glorious views. This was one of my favorite stays anywhere, and I think it’s the best place to stay around Ban Sop Houn/Nong Khiaw.
