Le Jardin Organique Guest House

A quiet, central place, with two double beds, a roomy bathroom, and a balcony. It cost £9 per night. Reception replied quickly and communicated well on what’s app. We had a great stay and would recommend it.

The room hadn't been cleaned during our four days, and we didn't get fresh towels or more toilet roll. Still, the place itself was nice, the staff were lovely, and the AC was amazing. I'm sure cleaning wouldn't have been a problem if we'd asked. The rooms and location were really lovely.

At 7 pm, our room still hadn't been cleaned, so we had to wait. They told us our first night would be free because of the mistake, but at checkout they refused to give us that night free or offer any discount. The room was okay overall and the beds were fine, but the toilet was old and very basic. The towels had brown spots and didn't feel clean. The location is central and close to the city center, though the surroundings are old and not charming.

The receptionist was friendly and helpful. Our bungalow was fairly quiet, though motorbikes got noisy at busy times since it's near the old bridge. The balcony was big enough, and we enjoyed coffee there while watching the 🐓 that served as our alarm clock. The bedding was clean and neatly arranged, but the bathroom needed scrubbing, the toilet cover needed fixing, and snack wrappers under the bed hadn't been swept up properly. The exhaust fan wasn't working. There seem to be two businesses with the same name and different owners. One receptionist is at the green building in front of a small shop near the river, and another is past the house or business under construction. Maybe that building will be finished by the time you read this. The photos might show a river view, but our bungalow faced the side of the big VilayVong Hotel and perhaps another four-door apartment.
